curriculum programs are based on the philosophy that
children learn best through hands-on activities that address
the needs of the whole child. In addition, each HighReach
Learning program reflects the belief that children need a
balance of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated
activities each day. This approach is grounded in
sound child development theory and appropriate practices.
Themes are used to introduce information and learning takes
place as a child explores and manipulates real objects and

Creative Curriculum is a
developmentally appropriate program designed to serve 4 & 5
year olds. It rests on a firm foundation of research
and responds to the theory behind how children learn, the
learning environment, the teachers' role and the family's
role. The environment is broken into 11 areas:
blocks, dramatic play, games, art, library, discovery, sand
& water, music & movement, cooking, computers and outdoors.

world." "God's word for a Kid's
world." This program helps Pre-K children discover God’s
love by integrating key Bible concepts into our Pre-K curriculum. Each concept is chosen especially to bring
God’s Word to a Pre-Ker's world and to help each child
begin to build a spiritual foundation that will last a
lifetime. Each Bible concept forms the foundation for
a unit packed with a wide range of creative learning
activities: art • blocks • dramatic play • large
motor games • and science in addition to age-appropriate
interactive prayer and Bible verse activities.
